A few posts down (or click on "How Long" Category) I showed you my 10 day 'old' wraps over lacquer. Some of you questioned how long a wrap would hold up over a lacquer. I am here to tell you that after those 10 days, my work schedule really picked up and I did the following in just 1 week:
* Tue - touched 10,000 pockets of cards to prep my greeting card section in a store for inventory. * Wed - counted 1 bay of 575 by hand - individually 3 times! Plus a few other bays of similar amounts. * Thur - normal scrubbing of pans and household chores. * Fri - 8 boxes of product came in to set. This means opening boxes, opening shrink wrap, knocking down the boxes bottoms that seem to have super strength glue! As well as putting product away. * Sat - a day I didn't think I would stop typing, but managed to get my hands into some baking. * Sun - that is today and I am at day 18 with these wraps. If you look close you can see the grow out. Value of this mani: less than 1/2 a sheet did all 10 finger nails, 5 wraps to be exact. 5 wraps costs around $4.16. So far I have had them on 18 days and can easily go longer. $4.16 / 18 days = $0.23 Per Day! I had a person asking if the clear wraps over nail lacquer stay on as long as the wraps directly applied to your nails. What a great question.
Since I did this mani 10 days ago with a clear wrap (still on), I wanted to post a picture to show you. And YES they still hold up that long over nail lacquer! Trying to figure out what to get Mom for Mother's Day? Look no further than a fun Jamberry gift set! Go in on the cost with your siblings and she will love you all even more (well, maybe). These are such a great value, they are going fast.
Includes: Exclusive Ruby lacquer Exclusive Rose, Delight, and Dearest nail wraps Pumice stone and brush Toe separators Peppermint taffy Mother's Day postcard Nail file and orange stick Packaged in the Ruby & Rose gift box. Jamicure = Jamberry (Jam) + Manicure (icure) I have on Jamberry Lacquers: Hint of Mint, Red Current, Ruby (Mother's Day Gift Box 2015) and Jammin'.
How long did it take? About an hour while I watched tv at 10 o'clock at night. The lacquer dries so fast; by the time you do one finger and go to the next that first one is dry! Just 1 coat would be fine (as you can see in the pictures).
